Meet Our Faculty
Jo Wu has been a Biology professor at Fullerton College since 1990. Besides teaching, she hosts many hands-on, skills training for junior high, senior high and college students. These include Science Summer Camps, weekend Biotech Skills workshops, and research projects. As the coordinator of the Amgen Biotech Experience- Fullerton Distribution Center, she and staff supply equipment and reagents to regional high schools and colleges.
Jo earned a B.A. in Biological Sciences from University of Missouri – Columbia and a Ph.D. in Developmental and Cell Biology from UC-Irvine.
Kimberly Rosales received her Ph.D. in Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Irvine. She worked for the Minority Science Program at UC Irvine training undergraduates in hypothesis driven research. She then joined City of Hope as a Post-Doctoral Fellow to conduct research on cancer cell metabolism. She has taught a variety of Biology courses at various institutions including California State University Dominguez Hills and Coastline Community College. She has been involved in outreach providing interactive science lessons to elementary students.
Spiros Dimitratos received his B.A. in Biology from UCLA and his Ph.D. in Developmental and Cell Biology at UC-Irvine.
